Drop-in Chemistry Advising

Due to the new policies and restrictions put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no drop-in hours through the remainder of the semester.  Please email Katie with any advising questions you may have. 

Advising Appointments

There will be no face-to-face advising appointments through the summer term.  All appointments will be offered via phone or Microsoft TeamsPlease continue to schedule your advising appointments through the Starfish app in MyUW.  You may also continue to email Katie with any advising questions you may have.  

Please schedule via the Starfish app in MyUW.  Katie provides advising for chemistry majors, prospective chemistry majors, and students with questions about chemistry course selection. 

Prepare for Your Appointment

The advisor will have a DARS report available when you come to the appointment. It is recommended that you review your DARS report yourself before the appointment to identify any questions that you might have. You should also bring to the appointment:

  • Any questions you have about requirements, post-graduate options, classes, etc.
  • A list of courses you are thinking of taking next semster and your ideas for future semesters, if you wish to discuss course selection.

Enrollment Inquiries
