Gary Parr Memorial Seminar

Danielle Swaney (Coon Research Group) and Ruibing Chen (Li Research Group) were selected to each receive a Gary Parr Memorial Award for outstanding achievements in graduate research.  Dr. Parr, who did his Ph.D. work with Professor James Taylor and later worked for Prof. Lloyd Smith, died in 1993 while working at the UW.  His family set up a fund in his memory.
