3. Prepare the updated l607.exe executable by compiling l607.F
and linking it with the Gaussian utility libraries, using scripts
provided with the Gaussian distribution.  This can be accomplished,
for example, by using the `mg' utility (see Gaussian 98 User's
Manual, page 232).  A typical command sequence is shown below:

   $ /bin/csh                (Change to C-Shell)
   $ cd $g03root/g03         (Move to the source directory)
   $ source bsd/g03.login    (Source the g03 environment variables)
   $ mg l607.exe
