Group Meetings
Weekly Group Meetings
Group meetings are held once a week. During the meetings, research that is underway in the group or interesting current literature is presented. During the Spring 2008 Semester, these meetings are held on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. in room 7360.
Super Group Meetings
The McMahon group belongs to a physical organic chemistry super group, which also consists of three other research groups headed by Chuck Casey, Hans Reich, and Steve Nelsen. At super group, research that is underway in any of the four groups is presented.
During the Spring 2008 Semester, these meetings are held on alternating Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in room 2373. The specific schedule is as follows:
- February 6 - Kris Kolonko (HJR)
- February 20 - Katherine Traynor (RJM)
- March 5 - Kevin Schultz (SFN)
- March 19 - No Meeting (Spring Break)
- April 9 - No Meeting (ACS Meeting)
- April 23 - Kristin Plessel (HJR)
- May 7 - Caroline Pharr (RJM)
- May 14 - No Meeting (Final Exams)
