Bruker REFLEX® II: Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI), time-of-flight (TOF)
The REFLEX® is equipped with a 337 nm nitrogen laser, a reflectron, and delayed extraction. In positive ion mode, the acceleration voltage is 25 kV, in negative ion mode -20 kV. The purchase of the REFLEX® was partially funded by NSF award #9520868 to the Department of Chemistry.
