... You should be, and here are a few reasons why

What we do:

We are a very active group, with a wide array of skills and interests.  We have a variety of professional, social, and philanthropic events every semester.

Professional – where our bond of brotherhood is built

-         Tutoring – We offer weekly drop-in tutoring for all chemistry courses at our house at 621 N. Lake St., Wednesdays from 7-9pm, as well as weekly organic chemistry tutoring from 8-9pm every Tuesday, also at 621 N. Lake St.  All of our tutoring is done by fraternity members, which provides a great way to help others and sharpen your own chemistry skills.

-    Community Demonstrations - we go out to local schools and organizations to perform chemistry demonstrations.

-         Boy/Girl Scout Days -- we help Boy/Girl Scouts earn their Chemistry merit badge.

-         More! – it seems like we are always adding more activities to this list...we just love to share our science knowledge!

Social – because scientists need to relax, too

-         Bowling

-         Late Skate at the Shell

-         Parties

-         Cooking competitions

-         Cook outs

-         Road Trips

-         More!

Philanthropic – it always feels good to help

-         Relay for Life

-         Adopt-a-highway

-         Ronald McDonald House drives

-         More!

What does it mean to “Pledge

Everyone in the fraternity started as a pledge.  It lasts a little less than one semester, and serves as a time for the fraternity to get to know you, and vice versa.  During that time, you will learn how the fraternity operates, some of its history, and interact with members and other pledges at fraternity events.  The time commitment is not too much – we understand that you have busy lives, and many other commitments – so we are realistic and flexible when it comes to demands on your time.
