Medical School Application Workshop

The Center for Pre-Health Advising will be sponsoring two workshops for preparing medical school applications. These workshops are intended for students planning on submitting either an AMCAS or AACOMAS application for the 2013 application cycle.

When: Tuesday, May 8th at 3:30 or Wednesday, May 23rd at 3:30

Where: 2511 Microbial Sciences

CPHA + WID host Discovering Careers in Pharmacy

On Monday evening, May 7, WID will host 2 panels: Pharmacists in Practice at 6:30 pm and PharmD Admissions at 7:50 pm.

This is a great opportunity for students to hear first hand from pharmacists working in the field! Also, admissions directors from UW, Midwestern, and the Univ. of MN will discuss how to build a strong application. Both panels will be happy to take student questions.

CPHA + WID hosts a panel on medical school admissions, Monday 4/23

Please encourage students interested in medical school to attend next Monday's panel on MD/DO admissions.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about admissions practices from a range of schools. 

The medical schools attending include: 

- Stanford University School of Medicine
- Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine
- UW School of Medicine and Public Health
- Medical College of Wisconson
- The University of Minnesota Medical School

A second panel of current medical students will discuss the admissions process from a different perspective.  Both groups will be happy to take student questions.
