Betsy Solom

President

Betsy is a senior chemistry major, and works in Professor Gil Nathanson's research group.  She also enjoys the source section of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, especially the comic strip "Pearls Before Swine."

Jake Kohlenberg

Secretary
Jake is a sophomore and intends to major in either chemistry or biochemistry.  After completing his undergraduate career, he hopes to attend either medical or graduate school. This summer, he did research on concussion testing for BrainScope, and also hopes to get involved in research this fall.

Tess Anderson

Treasurer

Tess is a junior and is majoring in chemistry, math, and Spanish.  She does research both with Professor Crim and Professor Mitchell.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, distance running, figure-skating, reading, and talking.

Jason Adkins

Technology Chair

Jason is a junior Medical Microbiology major, and volunteers in the conjestive heart failure unit at the hospital. He plays paintball and is planning to attend medical school in the future.

Chris Hansen

Public Relations

Chris is a senior chemistry major.  He does research in inorganic synthesis with Professor John Berry, and plans to continue his chemistry education in graduate school. He is a licensed manufacturer of fireworks, and also makes his own beer and wine.

Dr. Reich is a Senior Lecturer in the UW-Madison Department of Chemistry.  She teaches introductory and  intermediate organic chemistry, and is a member of the ACS Committee for Education.  She was also the recipient of the 2007-2008 Chancellor's Excellence in Teaching Award.
