President Obama says improving STEM outcomes is one of the most important things we can do to ensure a prosperous, secure, and sustainable future for our country. But the U.S. has a growing shortage of STEM college graduates to meet the workforce needs of the next generation. To create a strong STEM workforce, we need to expand and diversify the pool of STEM professionals. We have made great progress already, but there is still work to be done to close opportunity gaps and barriers to success.

Chemistry Research Internship

The Position
Arrowhead Research Madison is seeking a highly motivated individual to become a part of its scientific team. We have an immediate opening for an undergraduate research assistant to work in our organic synthesis group. This is an ideal position for an individual looking to expand their basic chemical and synthetic background, as well as gain familiarity with analytical methods and instrumentation. This position is part time, 10-15 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 9am and 6pm during September-May. Full time work, 30-40 hours per week, is possible from May-August.
