Converting Image Files in OSX Preview

You can convert image files into other types of image files easily in Preview. Open the image in preview, and click File --> Save As.

You can then convert the file into any of the following types:

  • GIF
  • JPEG
  • JPEG - 2000
  • Microsoft BMP
  • OpenEXR
  • PDF
  • Photoshop
  • PICT
  • PNG
  • SGI
  • TGA
  • TIFF

A new file will be created of the type that you selected.
