Snout-Out Softball Winners

Congratulations to the combined Analytical Chem + Materials Chem Softball team for winning this year's Snout-out Softball championship!
This year's game featured one of the most thrilling finishes in Snout-out history as the A+M team, down 8-3 going into the bottom of the 6th (and last) inning, featured two lead-off hits by your "senior" faculty Bob Hamers and Lloyd Smith (really! We both got on base!) followed by a rally by young sluggers to pull out a stunning victory,  defeating Organic by a score of 9-8.
A good time was had by all!  Thanks to the GSFLC for organizing the entire event, thanks to everyone who came, and congratulations to everyone who participated on all the teams!

Matt Sanders would like to add his thanks to all the people who helped to plan and execute the picnic - especially GSFLC and Tom Foseid - which appeared to be enjoyable for everyone who attended. Bob Hamers personally guaranteed nice weather when he was advertising the day, and he came through for us.  It was a great day, the food was good, the conversation was lively, and the bees were less plentiful than usual.
