The Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia seeks recent Ph.D. recipients to apply for a Chemistry Teaching Fellowship. Appointments to this position will be made at the Temporary Assistant Professor level for a period of up to three years. The Chemistry Teaching Fellow will teach in the Department's Organic Chemistry program and is expected to engage in research and other forms of scholarly activity. In addition, the Chemistry Teaching Fellow will interact with the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Georgia in support of the Chemistry Department instructional mission. The starting date for the Chemistry Teaching Fellowship is August 2012. Candidates should submit a vita, description of teaching philosophy, description of research interests, and three letters of reference to: Professor I Jon Amster, Head (Search CTF-12), Department of Chemistry, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602-2556. Evaluation of applications will begin on 9 March 2012. Applications received by that date are assured of consideration.
