Academic Staff Promotions

A recent change in the titles available to Faculty Assistants has made it possible for us to promote two long-time members of the Department. Angel Abruña-Rodríguez has been a Faculty Assistant since 1994, and José Laboy has been with us since 2000. Both are involved in helping to coordinate discussion and lab courses in General Chemistry, with responsibilities well beyond those of the standard Faculty Assistant, and in recognition of this they have both been promoted to Senior Faculty Assistant.
