Class Assignments

This course has two assignments, one small in scope and a second that is much larger.  View the first assignment as a "dress rehearsal" for the second.  Use this style guide for both.

Assignment #1
Short paper to address a question of your choice.

This assignment allows you to explore an issue in our textbook, "If You Poison Us".  A UW Writing Fellow and your instructors will work with you as you revise your work. Details ...

Assignment #2
Class presentation on a topic of your choice with a longer paper, quiz questions, and a handout to accompany it.

This assignment provides the opportunity to take what you have learned in one context, apply it to another.  Again, a UW Writing Fellow and your instructors will work with you as you revise and polish your work.
