Registration


To register for ISCC-8 click on the link below, and select "ISCC-8 International Conference on Carbanion Chemistry" from the side menu panel. On-line registration is available only if payment is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted). To pay by cheque or if you would prefer to use hard-copy registration with your credit card, print out and fill in this form, and FAX or mail with payment to the address on the form. Registration requires payment of Conference fees, and two optional meal items:
  • Registration fees. The conference fee is US$350 until April 8, 2007, $400 after that. Students and postdocs are eligible for reduced registration of $100, but are required to give the name of their research advisor and name of the institution they are studying at, and proof of student status during on-site registration.
  • Lunch package (optional). The conference site is in downtown Madison, and there are a number of places to get lunch. For the convenience of the attendees we are offering a three-meal (Thurs, Fri. and Sat.) buffet-style lunch package for US$30 at a convenient location near the conference.
  • Conference Banquet tickets (optional). There will be a Conference banquet at the Monona Terrace on Thurs evening, at a cost of US$60 per person
You should complete all parts of the registration at one time, since changes in the registration such as addition or removal of meals items can only be done by telephone. If you are an academic chemist, please put your University affiliation in the "Company" field on the personal information page.

Cancellation Policy. Cancellation of Symposium 30 days prior to the start of the conference (May 6) is subject to a $10 cancellation fee. After May 6th, the cancellation fee becomes $50. Any cancellations after June 1, will not be refunded.

PASSPORT AND VISA: All US nonresident participants should possess a valid passport or an equivalent document. Entrants from certain foreign countries must possess also a valid visa. Participants should check with their local authorities for details about the current immigration and custom regulations. Registered persons will receive a confirmation receipt once the registration has been processed, and this can facilitate visa application. It is important to register early to allow sufficient time to receive the confirmation receipt and process your visa paperwork.
