Conference Events

Registration and Mixer

Conference registration will be in the lobby of the Pyle center, corner of Lake and Langdon streets, between 15:30 and 21:00. The opening mixer will also be held in the Pyle Center between 17:30 and 19:30.

Conference Lectures

All lectures will be in the Chemistry Building Seminar Hall (room 1315), on the corner of Mill and Johnson Streets, starting at 8:40 on Thurs. June 7.

Lunches

For those who purchased the lunch package, buffet-style lunches will be served in Laine Lounge of Smith Hall on June 7, 8 and 9. From the Chemistry building walk east along Johnston Street to Park Street, then turn left and walk South along Park Street. Smith Hall is on the left (east) side of Park Street.

Poster Session

The Poster session will be held in Laine Lounge of Smith Hall from 14:00 to 15:30 on Thurs. June 7.

Conference Banquet

For those with banquet tickets, the conference banquet will be held in the Monona Terrace starting at 18:30 on Thurs. June 7. It is about a 2 mi (3 km) walk from the Conference site, so a bus shuttle service will be provided from Smith Hall and the Doubletree Hotel starting at 18:00.

Conference Picnic

All conference attendees are invited to a picnic at Tripp Lakeshore Picnic Area on Fri. June 8 at 17:30. From the UW Memorial union or Pyle center walk west along the lakeshore path and follow the signs. Bus shuttle service will be provided from the Doubletree Hotel and Smith Hall starting at 17:00.
