Career Services

Chemistry Career Services offers assistance to all levels of UW-Madison Chemistry students:

• We coordinate on-campus recruiting between students and organizations that employ chemists. Interviews are held in the Chemistry Building during the Fall and Spring semesters. To participate in on-campus chemistry recruiting, students must register with Chemistry Career Services. Learn more about on-campus recruiting. Log in to eRecruiting.

• We provide resources on resume writing and interviewing. We encourage all chemistry students also to make use of the L&S Career Services website and L&S resume writing and editing service. Workshops and one-on-one consultations are available.

• We also provide information about summer opportunities and internships. Most, but not all, positions are located at other academic institutions and companies across the country. January and February are generally the months in which to apply for summer internships.
