New Chemistry Departmental Web Site

The Chemistry website committee has finished working on updating our new departmental web site. The tentative date to go “live” will be the first week of March. The website committee has produced what we believe to be a product that reflects an impressive external image of our department, in addition to providing a wealth of useful and up-to-date information about our faculty and department as a whole. The new site is also designed to be easier to maintain and modify by a variety of departmental faculty and staff, in the hope that the content will be added and updated in a timely manner. We would encourage you to preview our “new look” at: http://kraken.chem.wisc.edu, once we go live with the new website the “kraken” address will become the standard Chemistry web address of: http://www.chem.wisc.edu. General comments or suggestions may be directed to schmidt@chem.wisc.edu, while specific changes to faculty profiles or information should be directed to the appropriate divisional coordinator.
