| Abstract | Well-defined aryl-Cu-III-halide species undergo reductive elimination upon acid addition resulting in the formation of strong aryl-halide bonds. The computationally studied mechanism points towards ligand protonation as the rate-determining step, in agreement with previous experimental data. |
