Graduate Paths and Campus Visit Weekends

There are six paths, or areas of specialization, within the Department of Chemistry. Follow the links for more detailed information about each path. All six paths offer both master's and Ph.D. degree options. Although students select a path when entering the department, students may change paths once in the program. Students are also encouraged to collaborate with faculty members in additional paths or even in other departments.

Each path sponsors spring recruiting events. Students granted admission to the Department of Chemistry are invited to visit UW-Madison and participate in these events. More information is sent to admitted students.
