Elena Ungur Joins Business Office Staff

We are pleased to introduce Elena Ungur who has joined our staff as a member of our grants office. Elena's workstation is located across from Dennis Reece in the Admin Office Elena is originally from Romania where she was employed in the banking field and worked for the largest bank in Romania. She has a Master of Science in Organization Management from Transilvania University, Brasov Romania and completed a 12 month scholarship in Finance and Banking under the East Central European Scholar Program administered by Georgetown University’s Center for Intercultural Education and Development and United States Agencies for International Development in Washington DC. This scholarship was completed at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, College of Business Administration. She also completed an internship with the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds. Berta and Elena will be working together on grant management. As a starting point, Berta will focus on Pre-award issues and Elena on Post-award and account balances. We are entering an exciting time in terms of Grant Management in the Department! Welcome Elena!
