Women in Science and Engineering Initiative Travel Grants
The Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) Women in Science and Engineering Initiative makes approximately 100 travel grants each year to women students to enable them to present papers/posters at professional conferences. Undergraduate and graduate women students enrolled in any science, engineering, or mathematics degree program at CIC institutions are eligible to apply. Each CIC/WISE grant of up to $250 must be matched by the student's mentor, department chair or dean. Detailed information about the program and the application form itself can found at the following website: http://NTX2.cso.uiuc.edu/cic/wise/travel.html . The deadline for the Spring competition is March 1. Applications should be forwarded to me; I will submit them to the CIC/ WISE Travel Grants Program Committee. Please contact us if you have questions regarding this program.
