New Mexico State University. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for a  tenure track position at the assistant professor level, beginning in August 2010 or earlier. The Department offers BA and BS degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry and MS and PhD degrees in Chemistry. Candidates in all areas of organic chemistry should apply, particularly those in the areas that complement existing strengths. The successful candidate is expected to establish an active and externally funded research program in organic chemistry. A PhD degree in Chemistry or closely related field is required. Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable. Essential to this position is a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
