- Developing new protocols for evaluating quorum sensing in Gram-negative bacterial strains which exploit native responses. Specifically, the release of cell wall degrading enzymes by the plant pathogen E. carotovora.
- Evaluating the responses of eukaryotes to prokaryotic quorum signals to refine our understanding of the interactions which define the interface between these two Kingdoms.
