supramolecules of free radicals and carbenes
with magnetic metal ions will be discussed.
Biographical
Sketch
After having received D.Sc. degree in 1962 from U of Tokyo and served as
Research Associate at U of Wisconsin (67-69), Iwamura became Associate
Professor of U of Tokyo (70), and Professor at IMS (77), U of Tokyo (87),
Kyushu U (94), NIAD (98), and U of the Air (00). He was President of the
Chemical Society of Japan during 2001-2002. His research interest lies in a
wide range of the synthesis and analysis of organic molecules of theoretical
interest. His accomplishments described in more than 400 original papers in
international journals earned a number of awards as represented by The Japan Academy Prize in 03.
