Kick back and enjoy the ride.   We are an experimental research group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Under the direction of F. Fleming Crim, our research focuses on the molecular dynamics of chemical reactions.   In particular, we are interested in the role that specific vibrational excitations play in the course of a chemical reaction. Is it possible to control the outcome of a reaction just by switching a laser on and off?
